A Grave Robbery (Veronica Speedwell #9) by Deanna Rayburn

I love a good cozy mystery. I think one of elements that separates Cozy Mystery readers from the greater Genre is we care a little bit less about the mystery and a whole lot more about spending time with our characters.

A mad scientist who is trying to resurrect dead bodies in Regency England? If this was the whole plot I would not be able to contain my eye rolls. If this was book one in this series I don’t think I would have made it to book two.

But as it stands it is Book 9. And I am so head over heels in love with Veronica and Stoker that I am 1000% in. As long as that relationship doesn’t dissolve I am going to keep picking up these books as long as Deanna is writing them.

Final thoughts: Loyalty Points are still points.
